About Healing Pathways Medical Clinic

Physician - Andrew Dickens NMD

Dr. Dickens received his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University in 1976 and then went on to graduate with a B.Th. from the Way College of Biblical Research.  He and his wife coordinated a non-denominational Bible fellowship in San Francisco for 18 years.  During that time frame he saw a great need among people and was led to attend the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Dickens has a special interest in Electro-Dermal Screening (EDS) as a means both to assess weaknesses in the body and to give direction as to how to correct those conditions.  He works with a wide variety of complaints but especially allergic reactions and chronic illnesses.  Dr. Dickens has been using a BioMeridian Pro since 2005 but is now using the EDS 2000 as the principle machine.

It is a pleasure for me to give this letter of reference for Craig Stellpflug … Craig has an exceptional ability to communicate medical and scientific information at various levels… I have particularly consulted him when dealing with dyslexic and autistic children.  He is knowledgeable in nutrition and health in general and maintains himself up-to-date in the latest developments.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

If you are primarily seeking naturopathic medical treatment, your first appointment will consist of a discussion of your primary health concern, a review of your health history, and a brief physical exam.  It is then followed by an Electrodermal Screening (EDS). EDS is a painless electrical analysis of the acupuncture meridians (and corresponding organ systems) using a micro current pulse of electricity which is not consciously detectable. This system is very helpful in assessing previously undiagnosed and unresolved health conditions and concerns. The information obtained by this device is analyzed and a treatment plan is worked out as to what will bring the body back into alignment and harmony.  Various modalities such as botanical medicines, homeopathy, nutraceuticals, diet, etc. may be employed. Also used is the Natural Elimination of Allergies Therapy (NEAT) which has been shown to alleviate allergy symptoms in as few as three visits for 87.2% of patients.

If you are seeking developmental and/or neurological treatments for yourself or your child your first visit will consist of a comprehensive neurological evaluation, physical exam, EDS screening and basic urine labs. The initial consultation takes about 4 hours. At the end of this evaluation and consultation you will receive an aggressive therapy plan and training to remediate the causes of the developmental aberrations, naturopathic remedies or prescriptions and support information. Re-evaluations are scheduled for follow-up exams.

We at Healing Pathways Medical Clinic are serious about you and your child’s health and wellbeing. To help assure success with a therapy program we desire to become involved with your individual school district, special education classroom, therapists and other caregivers to assure full dissemination of therapy plans and goals.
